For the person whose useful work happens on a board with wheels, next to a door she was never given a key for.
The whiteboard is the portable kind, on a frame with two wheels that stick, and it lives against the wall of the foyer about four feet from the archive door.
You use it constantly. Three steps in a handoff, drawn as boxes, with the two places people always get lost marked in red. You rub it out and redraw it most weeks, because the process keeps changing and because a thing drawn in front of somebody lands differently from a thing printed out.
The archive door has a keypad. You've never had the code. Eleven years, and the people who have it are the people who were there when the system was set up, and there has never been a moment when it would have been natural to ask.
You have been building something useful in a foyer while measuring yourself against a locked room. Scripture says God filled skilled people with wisdom of heart for every kind of making, while the Holy Spirit is at work on a board with two wheels that stick.

What the Keypad Actually Means
Be exact about it, because eleven years of standing beside a locked door has taught you a sentence that is not true.
The keypad means the records are restricted, which is correct and sensible. It means the code was issued to a handful of people in about 2014 and has never been reissued. That is all it means. It's a fact about a filing system.
What it has come to mean for you is that there is an inside to this organization and you are not in it. That the work that counts happens behind a door with a code, and that the work in the foyer is what somebody does while waiting to be let in.
A door code is not a verdict, and it has never once said anything about you. The written Word calls skilled making a filling from God rather than a permission from a keypad, while the Holy Spirit gives an assessment no door lock has ever been able to touch.
That meaning can go today, and it does not require anybody with the code to say a word.
Who Holds the Code, Left Out of It
There is a version of this with dates and names in it, and this is not that version.
It would ask why the code has never been reissued. It would make the case about who holds what in that organization, which you could make with dates, because eleven years in a foyer gives a person a very clear view.
It would also leave you heavier, sharper, and still beside the same door, and it would land on people who have simply never thought about a keypad since the year it went in.
You can be released from what a locked door has come to mean without prosecuting anybody behind it. Scripture rests your standing on what God has opened rather than on what anybody owes you, while the Holy Spirit takes weight off a person instead of handing them more.
Nothing here asks you to request the code, raise it, or mention eleven years. The foyer gets lighter, and nobody else has to move first.
What Is Actually Behind That Door
Here's something worth saying plainly, because eleven years of imagining has made a room into something it is not.
Behind that door there are boxes. Paper records from before the system was digital, arranged by year, in a room with no window and a dehumidifier that somebody has to remember to empty. People go in perhaps four times a year, mostly to find one thing, mostly with mild irritation.
Nothing is decided in there. Nobody has a conversation in there. It's a cupboard with a code on it, and you have been measuring a decade of your working life against a cupboard.
There is a second half to that which is worth having. While the cupboard has been filling with damp paper, the foyer has been where every new person in that organization learned how the work actually runs.
Eleven years of people have arrived, stood in front of a board with wheels, and understood something in ninety seconds that would otherwise have taken them a month. None of that is recorded anywhere either, which is the only thing it has in common with the archive.
That's not said to make you feel foolish. It's said because the room in your head has been growing for eleven years while the actual room has been slowly filling with damp paper, and nobody ever put the two side by side for you.
The room you have been standing outside is storage, and the work is in the foyer. The written Word calls skilled devising a filling of wisdom from God, while the Holy Spirit does that filling without reference to which side of a keypad a person stands on.
Them That Devise Cunning Work
There's a verse in Exodus about the people who built the tabernacle, and it names something most of us would not think to count as a gift.
> Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work. > Exodus 35:35 (KJV)
Read the last phrase. Those that devise cunning work. Devise means to plan, to work out, to arrange so that a thing can actually be made. The people who figured out how it should be done are named right beside the people who did it.
That is exactly what you do on a board with sticky wheels. You take a process that lives in six people's heads and turn it into three boxes and two red marks, so that somebody arriving next month does not get lost where everybody gets lost.
Devising is named in Scripture as a filling from God, and it is what you do in a foyer. The written Word calls it wisdom of heart, while the Holy Spirit keeps that true four feet from a keypad you have never used.
Wisdom of heart is a strange phrase until you watch somebody use it. It is not knowing a fact. It is the thing a person does when they look at a tangle of work and see how it ought to be laid out so that somebody else can follow it.
That is what happens at that board every time a new person stands in front of it. Eleven years of it, in a foyer, four feet from a door you have never opened, and Scripture has a name for it that has nothing to do with archives.
Declare this over yourself
You are in Christ and Christ is in you, so what follows is not a claim made out of your own authority. It is agreement, said back to God in His own words, while the Holy Spirit carries it. How He orders the rest of it is His to decide, and He answers in His own way and in His own time.
Spoken by a woman already accounted for, from a place settled without her help. What becomes of the board, and who reads it, is God's.
What He opened is not closed by a code issued in 2014 to a handful of people. The written Word of God says He filled skilled people with wisdom of heart, naming those who devise the work beside those who do it. I refuse to measure my usefulness by an archive room I could not enter. The Holy Spirit is in the foyer, at that board, ahead of me rather than behind. This foyer is my station, given rather than taken. I carry nothing bitter across this floor. Both feet are down, and every record in that building is God's.
